Auntie Anne’s® Continues Support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation with National Lemonade Day Donation
Auntie Anne’s®, the world’s largest hand-rolled soft pretzel franchise, continues to support its national charitable partner, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), by giving back on National Lemonade Day. In honor of the holiday on August 20, Auntie Anne’s will donate $1 for every lemonade product sold nationwide to ALSF, up to $10,000.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s mission is to change the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. Since establishing a partnership with ALSF in September 2011, Auntie Anne’s has raised more than $4 million, funding more than 80,000 cancer research hours.
“Caring for others has been a core value of Auntie Anne’s since ‘Auntie’ Anne Beiler’s first farmers market stand in 1988,” said Heather Neary, president of Auntie Anne’s. “Today, we’re proud to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation through a variety of initiatives, from our annual in-store fundraising campaign to our “For the Love of Pretzels” clothing and accessories collection. National Lemonade Day is another great opportunity for us to help ALSF cure childhood cancer, one cup at a time.”
Auntie Anne’s refreshing lemonade is a sweet way to make any day feel like summer. In addition to Original Lemonade, guests can help fund childhood cancer research with a purchase of Lemonade Mixers, Frozen Lemonade Mixers or Lemonade Iced Tea on Monday, August 20.
